The anticipated salary range for this role is between $63,000.00 and $75,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing operational processing and support for consumer and commercial lending, focused on monitoring and servicing SBA, Commercial RE, Business Loans and Participation/Syndication Loans. The position also includes responding to inquiries related to loan accounts, and processing loan transactions such as payments, advances, account pay-offs, loan repricing, and indicative data changes on loans onboarded to the Horizon and ACBS loan accounting systems. In addition, the position is responsible for performing General Ledger (GL) Reconciliations, and monthly certifications, as well as researching issues related to the reconciliation of the GLs and loan accounts. The individual is also responsible for adhering to and complying with all Bank policies and Federal and State banking laws and regulations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide guidance to other employees within the group.
- Process loan transactions, including but not limited to payments, pay-offs, and disbursements.
- Processing and servicing non-performing loans and charge-offs.
- Assist with fielding loan servicing calls and emails and making courtesy calls to loan customers, as required.
- Reviewing and understanding loan documentation and records.
- Conduct research necessary to address loan problems (data entry errors, payment exceptions/misapplications, etc.), resolve, and communicate outcome to appropriate parties.
- Perform quality control reviews related to the various loan servicing processes.
- Calculate prepayment penalty and prepare payoff demand requests received from borrower(s), escrow companies, and title companies.
- Perform manual loan interest calculations using Microsoft Excel.
- Responsible for daily and monthly general ledger (GL) balancing and certifications.
- Prepare, review, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
- Respond to inquiries received from, and initiate contact with, internal business partners by phone and mail regarding the Bank’s serviced loans.
- Research paid loans and prepare reconveyances and other collateral releases as required.
- 1502 SBA Remittance experience and knowledge a plus.
- Comfortable communicating with parent company, internal and external auditors.
- Recognize potential risks and propose solutions for mitigation.
- Scanning/storing loan information and related documents.
- Other duties may be assigned.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

- Minimum five years’ experience in Loan Servicing with concentration on Loan Funding & Boarding and Servicing preferably with knowledge of C&I loans, Commercial Real Estate, SBA & Syndication Loans.
- BA Degree in Business or Finance is a plus.
- Working knowledge of loan documentation, loans systems, operations, and accounting.
- Superb organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Highly proficient PC skills including MS Excel and Word.
- Experience in creating and updating procedures is a plus.
- Must be able to plan and monitor activities according to priorities and multi-task.
- Ability to work independently within the scope of responsibilities for the position and completes assignments in a timely manner.
