Role Description
We are seeking a highly organized and self-driven Cyber Program Manager to oversee and coordinate strategic initiatives within the Office of the CISO. This role requires a professional who can manage their own workload effectively, work independently, and demonstrate strong leadership in program governance. The ideal candidate will have experience in program governance, operational planning, financial management and stakeholder engagement.
You will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, driving strategic priorities, and maintaining accountability across cyber programs.
Note: Expectation is to be onsite at least twice a week for this role.
Role Objectives
- Provide operational support, tracking and managing multiple concurrent tasks, deadlines, and deliverables across cyber initiatives.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal processes and documentation to ensure efficient program operations.
- Support the preparation of materials for internal and external CISO engagements, including executive presentations and reports.
- Manage and coordinate multiple cyber initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely delivery of outcomes.
- Oversee program budgets, including forecasting, tracking expenditures, and reporting on financial performance.
- Support the development and execution of program roadmaps, ensuring resources and timelines are optimized.
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and clear communication.
- Maintain high standards of project hygiene, including dashboards, trackers, and executive reporting for leadership.
- Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and regulatory requirements across cyber programs.
- Step in to represent the Cyber Governance Team in leadership forums and external engagements when required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage complex programs with minimal supervision.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Advanced organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach.
- Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 5–7 years in program or project management roles, ideally within cybersecurity, technology, or governance environments.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
