Role Description

Launch your career with SMBC through our 7.5-month Co-Op Placement Programme based in Tralee, County Kerry. This is an on-site placement running from 11 January 2027 to 27 August 2027, providing students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a global financial services organisation.

Throughout the placement, you will work alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects, develop technical and professional skills, and gain valuable insight into the operations of a leading international bank. Our co-op students are fully integrated into their teams and supported through structured onboarding, mentoring, learning opportunities and ongoing development.

Who Can Apply

Students currently in their 2nd or 3rd year of study.
Pursuing a degree in an IT-related discipline.
Available to undertake a full-time placement from 11 January 2027 to 27 August 2027.
Must have the legal right to work in Ireland for the duration of the placement and not require visa sponsorship from SMBC.
