The anticipated salary range for this role is between $120,000.00 and $173,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.
Overview
Our Human Resources department is looking for a HR Data and Analytics Manager who will design and develop metrics, reports and analyses to help drive key business decisions related to Human Capital and Workforce Management. This role will provide a link between raw enterprise data and management as well as data extraction, analysis, standard/dashboard reporting and transformation. The role is integrally involved in the design and execution of the Human Capital Management plan, policies and processes whilst being responsible for the oversight and delivery of our standard monthly reporting cycle and all aspects of regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their strategy and develop a measurement and reporting strategy to help them monitor progress and course correct issues early.
- Demonstrate a consultative and client-oriented approach to HR data analysis and interpretation to be able to tell a story.
- Design and develop requirements for advanced reports and/or dashboards utilizing HR data across multiple platforms to provide meaningful stories/analysis related to Human Capital.
- Work with HR Management in developing and executing Human Capital Management plan.
- Facilitate prioritization of weekly, monthly, quarterly standard reports on a timely and accurate basis to key stakeholders across the company.
- Extract and transform data from multiple HR related systems across different platforms providing consolidated reporting, analysis, and insight generation.
- Support ad hoc reports to answer business questions quickly, accurately and thoroughly within predefine SLAs.
- Work collaboratively with peers and coworkers to achieve a common end goal.
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to analyze and tell the story of the data.
- Demonstrate a consultative and client-oriented approach to HR data analysis interpretation, and communications.
- Interact with internal teams to ensure systems/tools are in accordance with business needs; adjust system/documentation accordingly.
- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Support testing and roll out of all projects/process improvements that impact the department
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of strong HR experience across all areas of HR (i.e. ATS, LMS, TM, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience analyzing data with attention to accurate data and calculations
- Strong knowledge of HR database/reporting and human capital metrics
- Deep expertise with MSOffice, particularly MS Excel, VBA, PowerPoint, Word
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Alterix or other data management applications is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of HRMS database Success Factors an advantage
- Demonstrates excellent organization skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to self-train and pick up new skills quickly
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to present information in an understandable format
- Effectively consult with peers, department/sr managers, and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving while being able to prioritize and organize effectively
