Role Description

The Fund Finance Credit Control team within Credit Portfolio Management is seeking a Credit Control Coordinator to support the operational activities of the team. This coordinator-level position is responsible for application processing, portfolio administration, reporting, workflow management, and general team support.

This role is best suited for an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to deliver accurate, timely work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong aptitude for learning, problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Relevant education, training, or work experience is beneficial; however, demonstrated learning agility, attention to detail, organizational effectiveness, and a strong work ethic are the primary factors for success in the role.

The Coordinator will be responsible for managing a high volume of administrative and operational tasks while maintaining strict attention to detail and meeting established deadlines. The successful candidate must be comfortable working within defined procedures, balancing multiple priorities, and collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders across the organization.

Many responsibilities within this role are highly time-sensitive and require active monitoring throughout the business day. The Coordinator is expected to take ownership of workflows from initiation through completion, proactively tracking application status, following up on outstanding items, and ensuring matters continue to progress without unnecessary delays. Success in the role requires responsiveness, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to remain engaged with multiple transactions as they move through various stages of the review and approval process.

Position Scope and Career Expectations

This position is designed as a coordinator-level operational support role focused on the accurate and efficient execution of established processes. Success in the role is measured through reliability, accuracy, responsiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of work within defined procedures and timelines.

Given the transaction-driven nature of the work, the role requires active ownership of applications and requests from initiation through completion. The Coordinator must regularly monitor workflows throughout the business day, respond to requests in a timely manner, follow up on outstanding items, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure applications progress through required review and approval stages within established service expectations. The ability to manage deadlines, escalate issues promptly, and maintain continuous oversight of assigned workflows is essential.

This position is designed as a stable coordinator-level operational role with a consistent scope of responsibilities. While employees are encouraged to develop expertise and proficiency within the position, advancement opportunities would be dependent upon changes in business needs, organizational structure, available positions, or a material expansion of role responsibilities.

Role Objectives: Delivery

  5. Monitor and actively manage the status of applications throughout the approval lifecycle, following up with relevant stakeholders, identifying bottlenecks, and escalating issues as necessary to ensure applications continue progressing toward approval within required timeframes.
  6. Prepare and distribute recurring reports, including but not limited to quarterly collateral reporting, monthly compliance reporting, and other departmental reporting requirements.
  7. Maintain organized records and documentation related to applications, reporting, and portfolio activities.
  8. Support operational initiatives and provide general administrative assistance to team members as required.
