Role Description

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative team in the Senior Risk Developer role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying scalable, production-grade applications using Python, Django, React and data bricks working in Azure cloud platform. This role is critical to transforming business requirements into actionable insights and solutions.

 

Role Description

 

  • Develop highly scalable applications using Python/Django and React.
  • Optimize and maintain Python web applications and APIs.
  • Manage solutions on Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, Containers, Storage, SQL, Databricks).
  • Design and implement application and infrastructure monitoring (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
  • Build alerting, dashboards, tracing, and logging for observability (Open Telemetry preferred).
  • Diagnose performance, reliability, and security issues across the stack; improve operational maturity and lead incident response and root cause analysis.
  • Automate CI/CD and release processes (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
  • Mentor the junior members of the team.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Experience:  12+ years of professional Python development.
  • Skills:
    • Hands-on with core Python and web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
    • Exposure to Java script technologies (preferably React)
    • Exposure to Azure Databricks environment is desirable (PySpark, notebooks, integrate repos, job workflows, delta lake, unity catalog etc)
    • Experience working on SQL with ability to run various data analytics tasks and queries.
    • Exposure to azure environment and various interconnected azure components (Functions, App Service, Containers etc.).
    • Knowledge on Financial domain and mainly Risk management is highly desirable
  • Tools/Systems: VS Code, GitHub, AI coding tools
  • Other:
    • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to document decisions and align stakeholders
    • Working experience with AI is nice to have
