The anticipated salary range for this role is between $153,000.00 and $196,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

Role Description

JRI-America, a division of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp is seeking an Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (ERP) functional support to help implementing key Financial initiatives on the Oracle platform due to rapid growth in SMBC legal entities and ledgers, including the formation of Bank Holding Company and Group Companies. The Oracle Fusion ERP Security Analyst role typically involves managing user access, roles, and security configurations within Oracle Cloud ERP systems, ensuring data security, and compliance with relevant policies. The role often requires a combination of technical and functional expertise, including experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, security concepts like RBAC and SOD, and security auditing. Project Management across the full SDLC is a plus for this position. The scope of the role supports financial business users in North America and EMEA locations.

Provisioning and managing user accounts, roles, and permissions based on business requirements
Defining and implementing security policies and access controls for Oracle Cloud applications
Conducting security assessments of Oracle Cloud environments and applications to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance
Ensuring compliance with relevant security standards, policies, and regulations, including SOX and NYDFS
Responding to security incidents, coordinating with other teams to resolve issues, and implementing preventive measures
Designing and implementing security roles that align with business processes and adhere to least-privilege principles
Identifying and mitigating potential SOD conflicts within the system
Creating and maintaining documentation for security configurations, policies, and procedures

Collaborating with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to address security-related needs
Ensuring that proposed solutions comply with the company’s technology direction
Ensuring compliance with the company’s change and security policies
Working closely with the Oracle application team, both internal and external, on security design and related application configuration

Providing general technical support for the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system and user training
Providing late-night production support and weekend implementation work as required

Qualifications and Skills

Demonstrated hands-on technical understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP concepts and general module functionality
Ability to clearly describe end-to-end business processes and key integration points, work cross-functionally across different business processes within an organization, and understand the challenges faced by implementation teams
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Project management skills using MS Project a plus
Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud security concepts, including the Security Console, IAM, and OCI, with experience using relevant tools and technologies
Several years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including security configuration, role-based access control (RBAC), and segregation of duties (SOD)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to drive consensus and absorb and present complex ideas in a succinct and accurate manner
Team-oriented approach
Minimum of five years of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience is required
Experience in the finance and accounting industry a plus
Strong English communication and writing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to work in an energetic, fast-paced, team-oriented development environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Minimum of three years of TOAD/SQL experience is required
University degree, preferably in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications a plus
