JOB SUMMARY:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable Python applications supporting risk technology platforms.
- Build, deploy, and support applications within Microsoft Azure using interconnected cloud components.
- Enhance and integrate front end components using React JS, HTML5, and CSS3 to support user facing risk tools.
- Identify, analyze, and remediate performance bottlenecks and inefficient code to improve system scalability and reliability.
- Implement secure user authentication and authorization across multiple systems and environments.
- Develop code to enterprise quality standards, including unit testing and adherence to technical specifications.
- Contribute to risk analytics solutions, with exposure to Value at Risk systems where applicable.
- Support data visualization and reporting capabilities, including integration with Power BI tools when required.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation covering application design, functionality, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders in Agile delivery environments while maintaining the ability to execute independently on assigned initiatives.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of professional Python development experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Azure cloud computing platforms; Databricks experience preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of relational and non relational database systems and distributed computing frameworks.
- Familiarity with front end technologies including React JS, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative software delivery models.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multi tasking skills across concurrent projects.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Self directed work style with demonstrated ability to research, problem solve, and maintain delivery momentum.
- Reports into the Risk Technology function, supporting enterprise risk systems and analytics platforms.
