The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. Role Description
The VP, IT Business Manager will report to the Director, IT Business Management, and will be responsible for creating executive content, populating monthly and quarterly committee decks, sending CIO-wide communications, coordinating with multiple groups in IT, HR, Audit, Risk, etc., and keeping updated calendars reflecting key events.
- Prepare management presentations with strong technological background to deliver high quality content and strong visuals for senior management
- Leverage relationships to develop subject matter expertise and facilitate delivery of business management responsibilities
- Prepare CIO-wide communications from CIO mailbox e.g. Volunteer Challenge, All-hands, Org announcements, etc.
- Work collaboratively with counterparts in other regions or business verticals to share best practices and identify emerging themes
- Coordinate we have enough representation in tech for Corporate Citizenship, follow up with the leads, and report regularly on the status.
- Create and construct materials for all hands meeting and manage logistics and screen share of materials
- Manage newsletter strategy and review from CIO groups.
- Update, design, maintain SharePoint site
- Manage technology goals and keep track of achievements against goals for the year
- Review inventory of End User Computing (EUC) under IT Business Management and procure sign-off
- Responsible for consultant onboarding, support in business continuity and other corporate wide initiatives
- Lead & execute on resilience efforts
- Verify and review changes to the status of IT employees in the Mandatory Time Away (MTA) annual verification
Qualifications and Skills
- BA/BS in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or similar field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT business management or business planning, with at least 7-10 years of experience
- Advanced PowerPoint skills with timely and elegant design of deliverables
- Ability to work under changing priorities
- Ability to influence people outside the immediate span of control, negotiate and resolve conflicts, and work with business users, IT partners and vendors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Licenses /Certifications (preferred but not required) – PMP
- Language Skills: Business fluency in English
- Software Systems: MS PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio
