Role Description

Consults with internal teams to design technological solutions and application architecture to improve business processes. Works across a variety of technologies to develop optimized and cost-effcient processes. Works with cross-functional teams to provide subject matter expertise to support operational design.

Role Objectives: Delivery

Support business units or other technology teams on projects to develop new products or services, refine existing processes, or address business challenges to develop the project objectives into business requirements. Study business requirements from project stakeholders and propose technological solutions to meet defined project goals. Analyze technology and infrastructure needs to support the creation of budgets for implementation and operation. Liaise with application development teams to plan for the creation of any software tools that are required for proposed solutions. Monitor the performance of features against key performance indicators to guide development priorities and provide quality assurance. Negotiate with third-party vendors as required for software, hardware, or cloud infrastructure needed for implementation. Set SLAs and provision adequate support for the timely resolution of any issues. Work with project stakeholders to build plans for implementation and operation of proposed solutions. Aid with solution implementation and transition to other teams for ongoing maintenance and support.

Role Objectives: Interpersonal

Partner with other IT architecture teams to understand organizational resources and capabilities. Support efforts to build IT demand forecasts and ensure adequate resources to support performance goals. Collaborate with other technology teams, such as cyber security, development, networks, infrastructure, and data administration to utilize their expertise and coordinate efforts in building and implementation. Work with product managers to support the prioritization of development resources and coordinate ongoing solution maintenance and refinement. Start to build strong relationships with key project stakeholders to generate buy-in for the implementation of solutions, create clear communication channels to maintain project alignment, and open discussion of project performance and feedback.

Apply an understanding of business functions and operations, industry best practices and market trends, and organizational goals and strategy to effectively create impactful solutions that align with business objectives. Demonstrate knowledge of the latest in enterprise infrastructure, cloud-based solutions, SaaS platforms, software applications, and data analysis and integration tools to develop leading-edge technological solutions. Develop an ability to coordinate across diverse cross-functional teams to deliver complex solutions efficiently and on time. Exhibit proficiency with Scrum, Agile, DevOps, and other methodologies to effectively manage project development and implementation.
