JOB SUMMARY
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and translate use cases into actionable user stories and business rules.
- Analyze source systems and enterprise datasets to define data mappings, transformation logic, and data quality rules aligned to Quantexa ingestion and modeling standards.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and transformations that support analytics, reporting, and investigative workflows.
- Configure and support end-to-end Quantexa solutions, including data selection, entity resolution, network modeling, scoring logic, validation, tuning, and user interface components.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog refinement, to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are fully understood by the delivery team.
- Document data logic, mappings, and solution design to support transparency, auditability, and knowledge transfer.
- Identify data inconsistencies, inefficiencies, or reliability risks and recommend improvements to enhance overall solution performance and usability.
- Support testing activities, including unit testing and validation, to ensure solutions meet defined business and technical standards.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Early-career experience, typically 0–2 years, in data engineering, software engineering, or analytics-focused development roles.
- Working knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Foundational understanding of relational data models, data transformations, and object-oriented design principles.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and tooling, such as Azure and Databricks, preferred.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and standard development lifecycle practices, including version control, testing, and documentation.
- Experience using development and collaboration tools such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and operate within a structured delivery and reporting framework.
