Role Description
- Work with business stakeholders to update and manage business continuity plans, including the execution of business impact analyses and documentation of recovery strategies.
- Assist in the planning of BC/IT Disaster Recovery Testing and complete recovery strategy testing (manual workaround, recovery seat, transference) with relevant stakeholders
- Perform regular risk assessments of business practices to identify severity and likelihood of loss in case of disaster.
- Assist with crisis coordination, data gathering, and business continuity communications during disruptive events
- Handle routine administration of business continuity software and tools. Provide metrics and reporting.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to cultivate internal network of support partners in Cyber, IT, Third-Party and Operational Resilience to spot operational gaps and vulnerabilities and enhance the overall resilience of the firm.
- Establish relationships with business stakeholders across all departments and regions to foster collaboration and completion of BCM initiatives.
- Familiarity with data tools (Microsoft Office Suite) required. Familiarity of Crisis Communication Tools (Everbridge) and Planning Tools (Fusion) a plus.
- Understanding of business processes to drive improved execution of BCM responsibilities.
- 3 to 5 plus years of Business Continuity experience preferred. Exposure to Financial Institutions a plus.
