The anticipated salary range for this role is between $126,000.00 and $170,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire. SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Vice President with strong communication and analytical skills to join SMBC MANUBANK’s Finance team. Experience with financial institutions is ideal. The individual should be skilled in financial data analysis, scenario modeling, and presentation building to drive actionable insight. The Vice President will be responsible for supporting key initiatives including the annual budgeting cycle, monthly forecasting and ad-hoc analysis for the CFO and other senior stakeholders and independently managing production of standard management reports and presentations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Financial budgeting, forecasting and modeling: Play integral role in monthly re-forecasting and annual budgeting processes. Advanced ability to understand and enhance existing, or develop new, forecast models and related financial analytics, is a must.
- Reporting and analysis: Develop in-depth understanding of financials and leverage financial modeling, data analytics, and accounting expertise to accurately guide stakeholders on the Bank’s financial picture.
- Strategic planning: Support the execution of key initiatives including conducting performance gap assessments and setting up projects / initiatives to drive results.
Business partnerships: Strong relationship-building acumen to liase with leadership and stakeholders across the bank and the business partners at SMBC Americas. - Leadership excellence: Proven ability to rally colleagues, mentor teams, and drive results.
- Communication: Effectively communicate financial performance, trends, and risks and opportunities to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Change management: Implement, and maintain momentum for, technological and process transformation initiatives.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of 7+ years experience in financial services or related industries.
- Banking experience is necessary in Consumer and/or Commercial Banking - CCAR, Model Risk Validation (MRV) and/or ALM experience is preferred.
- Ability to conduct a variety of ad hoc modeling/analysis such as sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis and product level modeling.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications
- Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and ability to execute and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
- Experience with supporting change and reporting transformation efforts.
- Ability to effectively build and manage relationships with team members and colleagues at decision making levels.
- Collaborative and demonstrated ability to work with a team in dynamic environment
