The anticipated salary range for this role is between $85,000.00 and $170,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire. JOB SUMMARY:

Seeking a senior front-end engineer to lead development of web storefront application for a digital banking platform. This role focuses on building performant, accessible, and user-centric websites using modern JavaScript frameworks. The engineer will work cross-functionally with product, design, and QA in an agile environment to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own full lifecycle of web development: design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver scalable web solutions
  • Optimize site performance and ensure compliance with accessibility standards
  • Apply and advocate for modern web development best practices
  • Maintain code quality through version control and agile workflows

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
  • 5–6 years of technology experience, including 3–4 years in web development
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript
  • Strong experience with React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and CSS-based animations
  • Familiarity with Contentful or similar CMS platforms
  • Skilled in optimizing Core Web Vitals and responsive design
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards
  • Proficient in Git and agile development methodologies
Preferred Experience:
  • TypeScript: Interfaces, generics, enums, and type safety
  • Azure DevOps: CI/CD workflows and release pipeline management
  • Web analytics: Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and related tools
  • Financial services or fintech domain experience
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
